Hi guys, how are you?
I decided to share with you one of my summer breakday, in which I decided to indulge in nature. I'll just introduce you to one of my favorite hobbies - river fishing.
I was born in a city on the banks of the second largest river in Europe and grew up with a fishing rod in hand. I must admit, however, that for about 15 years I have not seriously gone fishing, there are one-two exceptions.
So... at the end of august I decided to go to a dam, about 10 km from home, and until the day before I didn't even have a fishing rod. For one afternoon I bought a rod, tackle, bait and ... the next morning I was at the dam.
There are big fish in this reservoir - catfish, carp, pike and others. But I had decided to try my luck catching carassius. These are the most common fish in most freshwater dams and catching them is easy and enjoyable.
In my life, I have caught, perhaps, thousands of carassius in the dams I have visited. But they were all no bigger than 10-15 sm. Guys, here, on this day, I caught carassius monsters, at least I had never seen so big.
For bait I used manure and swamp worm, styrofoam balls and corn.
In about 6 hours I caught 4 large carassius, the largest 1.1 kg, and I missed as many more. The reason was that I used small hooks according to the size of the carassius in this pond.
It was a very nice trip. Now, here in Bulgaria, it is late autumn, the weather is cold and fishing's not as active as spring and summer months. Especially today is a sunny day and that's why I remembered my last fishing.
I will be happy if you liked the photos and share similar things.
Have a nice day everyone.
