We are vacationing in the Philippines, it is fun but it’s summertime and the temperature is around 92F. A friend suggested a resort and restaurant located on the hilltop of San Mateo, Rizal, away from the city where it is a bit cooler as it is surrounded by lush greenery and forests, Caza Peregrine.
We were advised to go as early as 5:30 am to catch the stunning view of a sea of clouds. We are not morning people but we are excited to witness the sunrise and the famous sea of clouds.
Walking straight to the viewing deck, we saw the amazing sea of clouds. As the sun ascends, the clouds got thinner and farther away. But it was still a scenic and stunning view of the mountain ranges and the relaxing greeneries. Nothing beats the instant relaxation you feel seeing the lush green forests we rarely see in urban cities.
Exploring the area, we passed under the weeping willow tree, creating a canopy with its long and graceful branches. A dramatic walk under the elegant light green leaves, almost touching the ground.
Going around, seeing the tree houses! A reminder of embracing nature, creating a spacious hangout, and swaying with the wind breeze. We wanted to dine or at least go up in one of the tree houses offering a better overlooking view of the surroundings, but other guests beat us to them.
We were still able to dine at alfresco in another area overlooking the stunning nature view. What a wonderful feeling, eating with family surrounded by nature’s beauty!
