This is a continued post from the last post. Strolled around the airport after the meal. Checked out the charging area. There were still lots of passengers and it wasn't early. Late night flight. We were on our way to Penang.

Backdated. I enjoy tracing back my whole trip. Writing this post slowly in parts and bits. Do read the earlier parts.
The departure area. It was still quite brightly lit.
Lots of different planes parked at the airport. Scoot airlines, a Singaporean low cost airline. It's just amazing to look at the different airplanes.
The passenger bridge
Something about late night flights.
Time to board the plane. 8 pm. The arrival time 10.20. The problem is that it
there was some logistical problem in Penang being late. Do read the next post to find out more.
Getting ready to board the plane.
The view from where I sat.
However, that being said, I did not manage to get the window seat. So this was that photo that I took before the passenger arrived, sat next to the window.
Dimmed
The cabin was dimmed. Till today, I am not sure why that has to be done for night flights. I had been awake for the most part of the day. Time for some nap. I could barely sleep. Stiff chairs.
Lights out
Had a peak of Kuching from above. Lights lit up the whole city. I wonder what it would have been if Tesla never introduced alternating current to the world.
Two hours later and turbulence.
Penang international airport
Been aeons since I last arrived in Penang. A day from this, I was on my way to Hatyai, Thailand. So, the only thing to do at 10 pm in Penang. Get to the hotel and get some sleep.
This is one busy airport
I had to double check my watch to check the time. Why was there still so many people at this particular point of time. It was close to 11. I had one plan. Get my luggage and head to the hotel. Get a nice shower.
Out of the airport
The waiting area for the cars. I tapped the app and selected the designated destination. No drivers available? How could this be? It is an airport.
After countless tries and no luck. My wife suggested that we randomly walked around and see if there was any drivers who was able to take us to the hotel.
After getting worried and not having any drivers, we finally found one. He was willing to bring us to our hotel.
The view along the road
Penang is an advanced city in Malaysia. With so many gigantic skyscrapers. Beautiful view.
Do read on for the next post to Hatyai. I hope that you enjoy reading this post. Have a great day.
