  1. Look at the ingredient list. If you don't know what something is, assume it's not healthy. Avoid preservatives whenever possible.
  2. Fill your house with plants which provide filtration. Some of the best are peace lilies, ferns, & some specific flowers.
  3. Wash clothing many times after purchasing it from a store. Shop at thrift stores whenever possible.
  4. Buy organic fruits & veggies whenever possible, if your financial situation allows for it.
  5. Take Vitamin D daily. Most do not receive enough simply from being outside.
  6. Shoot for at least 45 minutes of exercise 4-5 times a week. Daily is better but some people's schedules don't allow this.
  7. Enjoy alcohol but in moderation. 1 glass of whiskey, red wine, or a craft beer isn't bad for you. If you have an addictive personality though, it's better to avoid altogether. Everything in moderation.
  8. Take personal mental health days, to focus on yourself. Make sure you never feel obliged to do things. Don't feel bad if you need to cancel plans because you can't keep up with everything life is throwing at you. Always have a mission to keep your personal hygiene as stellar as possible also. This ties into your mental health days.
  9. Use natural soaps, detergents, and deodorants whenever possible. Aluminum causes Alzheimer's disease. Some soaps I recommend trying are Dr. Bronner's castile soap for a body wash. Doesn't work as well on your hair though. You can use seventh generation products on your hair. Replace your dish soaps, your laundry detergents, and your dishwasher detergents with Seventh generation products. You can thank me later.
  10. Last but not least, learn what you enjoy, learn what you don't enjoy, & don't feel bad or shameful about your own body. You can always better yourself by losing weight if you don't like what you see in the mirror. Never complain about things that are out of your control though. Complaining is dangerous and becomes addicting quickly. I've known people who walked down the path of always stressing over everything and always complaining about things that are out of their control. It can change your brain chemistry for the worst. Always wake up in the morning and say "How can I be a better person than I was yesterday?"

If you follow this list, I promise that your quality of life will be greatly improved very quickly. Thanks for listening friends.
