THE LEGEND OF THE GHOST NUN.
It is said that in the Middle Ages there was a young rich girl who fell in love with a poor English soldier.
This love was hindered by the girl's parents who locked her in a cloistered convent but the two young lovers continued to see each other secretly until they were discovered and the girl was walled up alive in the Benedictine monastery.
Since then it seems that the spirit of the young nun wanders around the walls of the castle in search of the lost lover and that often hear lamentations or desperate sobs.
