Quiero invitar a participar a solperez01@solperez01, y a acostacazorla@acostacazorla. Aquí la información

Describe what you see:

A paintbrush, with drops of paint around it. The brush resembles a person, and the drops represent more people.

Describe what you feel:

To be honest, I don't feel anything at all. Just a vague understanding of what the image is trying to convey.

I considered myself an artist, simply because I loved to paint and all that, but the difference was that people (friends and family) said that what I did wasn't art, not even good paintings, that it was all just nonsense. And it was true, but only in one respect: my paintings weren't art or anything like that; I would just pick up a paintbrush and flick paint onto the paper, and that was it. The piece I loved most was one I felt completely connected to. The painting consisted of dots forming a circle with a paintbrush in the center. I was certainly very proud of my art, although the expressions of my friends and family discouraged me a bit, because they said it didn't make sense. And why had I done it? That was a good question; I simply listened to my mind and drew what I saw. Nonsense? I didn't think so, and I set myself the goal of understanding my own painting and my own mind. Did I need help?

I used to be a very closed-off person; I expressed my feelings through paintings, but at night, before going to sleep, I noticed that it was difficult to understand the message I was trying to convey. This painting was the clearest message I could make, and yet people still didn't understand. I had hoped my friends might understand something, but I felt the same, or even worse. They said I was crazy and senseless. Did they ever ask me why I did it? Because of all those questions I asked myself every night, I finally understood the meaning of my mind and my painting. The paintbrush reflected me (it lent itself to me), and the drops of paint around it represented the people around me. I was different, very different; unlike other people, I was willing to change everything. In contrast, others make no effort and stay in one place, without the help of the paintbrush, but that would be the meaning of my painting. The meaning of my mind, however, was different, because I always rejected my mother's support, even though she was there to listen to me. She was the hand that helped the paintbrush to keep painting and do everything.

This painting showed who I am. I shouldn't open up to everyone; if I trusted my friends, they would judge me, and that's what they did with my paintings. The one who was there for me was my mother, who didn't judge me and always supported me, and I was hard on her; now I know that she's the one who helped me break free from that cycle, so I could continue painting good things in my life.

I'd like to invite solperez01@solperez01 and acostacazorla@acostacazorla to participate. Here's the information: @freewritehouse/a-picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words-t95ki4
