Greetings, dear and respected community of musicians, music creators, music lovers. This week 126, with the theme "Trusting in the process" devised by our recent Featured Artist artmedina@artmedina, to whom I send a big hello.

Speaking of processes, I tell you that I am immersed in this process of learning the accordion, a musical instrument that fascinates me. I am learning it in a self-taught way since here in Villa de Cura nobody currently teaches accordion. The one I have is small, it doesn't have semitones (sharps, flats, "black keys"), so I can only play in C Major.

My mother, sayury@sayury, and I chose to participate with the same song but I couldn't even give my mother a little hand at least in the introduction of her video because she sings this song in G Major I don't have the note F#, I only play in C Major.

This song goes very well with the theme of the week because its words translate the process of someone who needs to forget and stop loving another person, and, although he has been trying for so long without success that even his skin "is leaving", he continues to believe that in the end he will be able to confine her in the past forever (for ever and ever).

This time I had the collaboration for the recording of

gabrieljr@gabrieljr at the video recording since we did this work on Tuesday and barbyjr@barbyjr was in college. On Sunday (Our fixed recording day) neither my mother nor I could go to hermaryrc@hermaryrc's house because it was rainy all day and we both had the flu.

carmenrivas@carmenrivas and
hermaryrc@hermaryrc who each looked like the Statue of Liberty. Patiently holding up some rechargeable light bulbs to have enough lighting for the recording.

Everyone, thanks for their support.

comenzamos prometiendo, terminamos incumpliendo

Yo quisiera

I wanted to wash your memory as if it were a coat
I've worn it so many times to cover the void
Because my skin is aging, this cold is tanning me
I'm still alone and I'm skinny, I'm still alone but alive

I would like, I would like to hide you in oblivion
So difficult is my grief: delirium and a mixture of boredom

I would like, I would like but this confinement is so long
confine you in the past forever and ever
I would

Life is not enough for us mortals
To love high and bear the fall
We start by promising, we end by breaking
we are afraid to fall in love, we are afraid of another attempt

I would like, I would like to hide you in oblivion
So difficult is my grief: delirium and a mixture of boredom
I would like, I would like but this confinement is so long
confine you in the past forever and ever
I would
