Yesterday was one of those days when the body asks for space to breathe, and the soul, a break from the daily noise. I went back to the square I usually frequent, that corner that has become over time more than a place to train, it is a kind of refuge, a silent extension of my routine and my thoughts.
I did nothing out of the ordinary. I'm easing back into training because I'm still recovering from a shoulder injury. No heavy weights or sudden movements, just basic, simple exercises. But still, it was just what I needed. Sometimes, the essential is in the simplicity of a well-done movement, in listening to the body without forcing it, and in that serene feeling that lets you sweat a little without the pressure of going beyond the limit.
As I moved through slow repetitions, I felt the stress of everyday life begin to dissipate. Work, responsibilities, routine, everything is put on pause when I'm there. It's as if time relaxes with me. Being outdoors, feeling the soft wind against my skin, watching how the light changes with the afternoon, helps me to find my center again.

But the best thing, without a doubt, was to meet my friends again. Those who, like me, share this passion for moving the body, for improving through effort, even when all we can do is work from the ground up. Conversations flow between series and series, mixing jokes, anecdotes and advice. We support each other without saying so, we watch each other to correct postures, and we celebrate those small accomplishments that for others would go unnoticed. Like doing one more push-up than last week, or simply showing up for training despite the fatigue.
I think in these moments, beyond the physical training, I find a form of therapy. The body gets stronger little by little, yes, but also the mind gets clearer. And sharing that space with people who understand the value of the process (not just the outcome) makes it even more meaningful.
Returning to the plaza was a reminder that not everything needs to be extraordinary to have value. Sometimes, the simplest and most routine can be the most healing. So I continue to be patient, building from where I am, respecting my recovery process, and grateful to have this place, this group, and this passion that helps me stay grounded, in every way.
