There is this carnival held yearly in owan west, edo state to bring sons and daughters of the community together, its called the "ora carnival". The carnival does not just create an avenue for the sons and daughters of the land to community to come together but is also a platform for local artist to showcase their talents in music, dance, comedy and lot more, it also help in promoting unity within the community. Local businesses experience a boom in sales because of the coming of sons, daughter and even visitors to the town for the carnival.
