FLEXIBLE SLEEPING Ducks have flexible sleeping habits, with their head rotated backward, resting on their body. Ducks can allow half of their brain to sleep at a time, so that the other half of their brain can be alert for predators. Those at the edge of the group are significantly more likely to keep one eye open while are sleeping.
