Esto de llegar un poco tarde a los Challenge se me esta haciendo un poco costumbre, la verdad con tantos maquillajes que tengo pendiente se me suelen olvidar. Pero... de que llego ¡Llego! Así que en este post les traigo mi aporte al Inspired Makeup Look impulsado por nuestro Admin @mintdreams. Por lo que, no podía quedar por fuera y dejar pasar esta gran sección de nuestra comunidad.

Para el tema de esta semana, el cual es villanos, me inspire en Ursula de la película "La Sirenita" la cual me encanta mucho. Pensé primero en hacerla muy similar, pero quería algo diferente también, así que me inspire en ella y realice una versión mejorada la cual no me llevo mucho tiempo de hacer. Ursula la bruja del mar, es un "Cecaelia", una especie de mitad mujer y mitad pulpo. Así que me inspire en ello para realizar este maquillaje.

For this week's theme, which is villains, I was inspired by Ursula from the movie "The Little Mermaid" which I love very much. I first thought of making it very similar, but I wanted something different as well, so I got inspired by it and made an improved version which didn't take long to make. Ursula the sea witch, is a "Cecaelia", a kind of half woman and half octopus. So I was inspired to make this make-up.

Con mi parpado ya preparado con un corrector claro comienzo aplicando un tono azul por todo el parpado fijo, con una brocha para difuminar. Luego lo intensifiqué con otro tono azul. La razón por la que escogí estos tonos fue Ursula lleva un tono azul en todo su parpado, así que le di la vuelta y cree esto.

With my eyelid already prepared with a clear concealer I start by applying a blue shade all over the fixed eyelid, with a brush to blur. Then I intensified it with another blue tone. The reason I chose these shades was that Ursula has a blue shade all over her eyelid, so I turned her over and created this.

Siguiendo con los ojos me aplique un tono negro para crear mucha profundidad. Con una brocha para difuminar y yendo de menos a más. También realicé un corte de cuenca, a esto le agregue un tono morado matte y un tono gris metalizado. En esta oportunidad al mismo tiempo que iba aplicando un tono en el parpado superior también lo aplicaba en la linea inferior de las pestañas.

Following with the eyes I applied a black shade to create a lot of depth. With a brush to blur and going from less to more. I also made a basin cut, to this I added a purple matte tone and a metallic gray tone. This time while I was applying a tone in the upper eyelid also applied it in the lower line of the eyelashes.

Ahora para la piel hice una técnica diferente, tome la base más clara que tengo y raspe un poco de mi sombra morada, estas dos las uní y forme una base en un tono lila-rosado muy claro, esto puede funcionar como prebase de sombras de igual forma.

Now for the skin I made a different technique, take the lighter base I have and scrape a little of my purple shadow, these two joined and form a base in a very clear lilac-pink tone, this can work as a pre-base of shadows in the same way.

Lo estuve aplicando por todo mi rostro, cuello y escote con una brocha para base y haciendo retoques finales con una esponja. Esto lo estuve "Sellando" con una sombra blanca, justo debajo de las ojeras y en los puntos donde normalmente suelo iluminar. Y en las áreas donde va el contorno aplique una sombra morada, difuminando por el resto del resto. Finalmente apliqué mucho iluminador.

I was applying it all over my face, neck and neckline with a base brush and making final touches with a sponge. I was "sealing" this with a white shadow, just under the dark circles and in the points where I normally light. And in the areas where the outline goes I applied a purple shadow, blurring the rest of the rest. Finally I applied a lot of highlighter

Para hacer los tentáculos de Ursula comencé con un pincel y una sombra azul. Rellene un poco y aplique una sombra negra, luego con corrector limpié un poco y aplique morado. Debajo de esto hice una pequeña sombra, con negro y morado, difuminado y sin preocuparme mucho.

To make Ursula's tentacles I started with a brush and a blue shadow. I filled a little and applied a black shadow, then with concealer I cleaned a little and applied purple. Under this I made a small shadow, with black and purple, blurred and without much concern.

Como era de esperarse, también iba a recrear el mismo tentáculo en el escote. Utilizando la misma técnica, primero azul, luego negro y por ultimo morado. En mi escote realicé solo 2 tentáculos. Finalmente a los 3 les aplique pequeños círculos utilizando corrector.

As expected, I was also going to recreate the same tentacle on the neckline. Using the same technique, first blue, then black and finally purple. In my cleavage I made only 2 tentacles. Finally, I applied small circles to the three of them using concealer.

Para los detalles finales decidí colocar pequeñas estrellas rojas y moradas que tenía en mi colección. También aplique pestañas postizas y finalmente un labial rojo, el cual no combinaba mucho con el look final, pero los labios de en esta tonalidad son característicos de Ursula, así que los utilicé sin darle tantas vueltas al asunto.

For the final details I decided to place small red and purple stars I had in my collection. I also applied false lashes and finally a red lipstick, which did not combine much with the final look, but the lips in this shade are characteristic of Ursula, so I used them without giving so much thought to the matter.
