I have this habit that I considered crazy, until today. If I wanted a new pair of shoes, and for some reason, the process of getting it was being delayed by me, I'd give away the one in use, or throw it away, whichever way it left, I didn't care, it just had to go. And it worked, because with no alternative to fall back on, I'd get the new one quickly. This was the same tactics used for clothes, and some other stuff. And it worked every time.
Then today I stumbled upon this quote.
"The first step to getting what you want, is having the courage to get rid of what you don't. "
I know the writer probably wasn't thinking about clothes or stuff when he wrote this, but then, they're the same thing. Think about applying this in other areas of life, your relationships, goals, fitness etc.
Let's take a look at fitness, you want to lose weight, or you wanna have that hot body, a lot of stuff have to be thrown out of the refrigerator, all that junk food has to go. If you want the best relationships, you gotta think of the things that would hinder you from getting that and throw them out, for example, that friend that never thinks or says anything positive of your relationships, he/she has to go. You don't need that kinda negativity in your space.
