Dear Diary, it's been quite a while we talked. Things haven't been that great, and I could say that life's not fair, but then I have a lot to be grateful for.
Lately I've been in constant disagreement with myself over how much time I have. One half of me tells me that I have a lot of it, I have my whole life ahead of me, and there's time to figure out who I'm supposed to be. The other half, however frightens the living daylight out of me, with threats of imminent danger, he tells me that time doesn't belong to me, and whatever piece of it I think I have, could be taken away from me at anytime.
Their arguments are both reasonable, and my inability to choose whose opinion to adopt, Is slowly driving me crazy. I do know for sure that one brings a much needed peace of mind, while another puts me on edge, and since I've never liked the thought of trading my peace for anything or anyone, my choice should be easy, but still, it isn't.
Being at a crossroad is never something to look forward to, and this time, it seems like none of the paths ahead of me, lead anywhere good. Maybe, just this once, I don't get to choose. A little bit of both opinions, and I'd be fine.
