Cuanto tiempo sin compartir contenido en esta comunidad, estoy de regreso, quiero incorporar nuevamente el ejercicio en mi vida, la verdad es que han Sido meses difíciles para mí, viviendo un día tras otro en modo automático para no pensar demasiado, hace unos meses perdí a mi padre y eso me afectó de una manera que no puedo explicar, sin mencionar estar sola en un país que no conozco, poco a poco he salido adelante, me alegra de decir que ahora estoy tranquila, intento seguir porque aunque sienta que la vida se detuvo, no es así.

The truth is, these have been difficult months for me—just going through the motions day after day so I wouldn’t have to think too much. No quiero profunizar demasiado, pero el hecho es que ahora quiero sentirme mejor, hacer un esfuerzo extra en mejorar mi estado de ánimo, algo que siempre me llenaba de alegría era hacer ejercicio, estoy bastante oxidada debo agregar, dicen que el músculo tiene memoria, eso lo voy a comprobar, estoy iniciando con una rutina de estiramiento que aprendí recientemente en un antiguo trabajo, allí nos daban unos minutos de estiramiento para relajar el cuerpo, es muy efectiva por ello quiero compartirla con ustedes, espero les funcione como a mí.

Les comento un poco sobre esta rutina, hace unos meses trabajé en una fábrica, estuve un tiempo prestando servicios de auxiliar de producción, cuando estás en un país diferente al tuyo debes trabajar de lo que sea, era un buen trabajo, pero cansativo en exceso, sin embargo; tenías muchos beneficios al formar parte de la fabrica, uno de ellos eran días de gimnasia, eran los minutos más relajantes de toda la jornada, esta rutina es más larga, hoy he decidido compartir mis ejercicios favoritos, los que luego de hacer en el trabajo repartía en casa para relajar y estirar mi espalda.

When you’re in a country other than your own, you have to take whatever job you can get. It was a good job, but it was incredibly tiring. However, there were many benefits to being part of the factory. One of them was gym time—those were the most relaxing minutes of the whole day. This routine is longer. Today I’ve decided to share my favorite exercises—the ones I’d do at work and then repeat at home to relax and stretch my back.

Iniciamos con unos estiramientos laterales, este movimiento es muy básico pero efectivo, en todo momento debes mantener una respiración controlada, que tú cuerpo se mueva al ritmo de tu respiración, nos vamos a estirar primero hacia el lado derecho sosteniendo 10 segundo, luego repetimos en el otro lado, hagan unas 10 repeticiones.

Ahora nos paramos derechas y juntamos nuestras manos en la espalda, nos inclinamos poco a poco hacia adelante, hasta donde podamos, vamos a sentir como se estira nuestra espalda, brazos y parte de los isquios, sostenemos 10 segundos, regresamos deanera controlada a la posición inicial y repetimos, deben realizar unas 5 repeticiones.

Now stand up straight and clasp your hands behind your back. Slowly lean forward as far as you can. You’ll feel a stretch in your back, arms, and hamstrings. Hold the position for 10 seconds, then return to the starting position in a controlled manner and repeat. Do about 5 repetitions.

En este ejercicio nos solo estiramos, también trabajamos la flexibilidad, llevamos nuestros brazos a la espalda intentando unirlos, es más difícil de lo que parece, debes intentar que las manos se toquen, realizas el movimiento iniciando con el brazo derecho hacia abajo, y luego inviertes, repite unas 10 veces sosteniendo 5 segundos.

In this exercise, we don't just stretch—we also work on flexibility. Bring your arms behind your back and try to touch them together; it's harder than it looks. Try to get your hands to touch. Start the movement by bringing your right arm down, then switch sides. Repeat about 10 times, holding each position for 5 seconds.

Este ejercicio suele ser el principal en una rutina de estiramiento, el entrenador decidía dejar para el final, el colocaba música relajante, nos pedía respirar y entre la respiración controlada, la música suave rotabamos los hombros para terminar de relajarnos, de está manera también la carga de los hombros desaparecía.

This exercise is usually the main one in a stretching routine; the trainer chose to save it for last. He would play some relaxing music, ask us to breathe, and, between controlled breaths and the soft music, we would rotate our shoulders to fully relax—this also helped relieve the tension in our shoulders.
