Tonight, I will share my first power up as a newbie here in hive. My mother @jurich60 encourage me to power up, so I happily did.
Actually I want to participate and join in POWER UP DAY TODAY but I found out that I'm not yet qualified to the contest. But that's okay for me coz I'm still a newbie even I'm excited to join, LOL!

We begin by washing the rice in a bowl, this water should be discarded. Add water to the rice and let it stand for a minimum of two hours. You can also refrigerate the rice in a covered container overnight. After the established time we will strain the rice, reserving a little of the water and we blend it, adding little by little the water that we reserved (you can also do it in a food processor). The rice should be like a kind of paste, not like a cream. The rice paste will be cooked over low heat in a small pot, we must stir constantly so that the rice does not stick to the pot, in this step our rice goes from paste texture to cream (as shown in the photo).
