My favorite colour is orange, which means I love love LOVE sunsets and sunrises 😍😊 The amount of color and beauty that can be captured is nothing short of breathtaking. I want to share just a few of my favorites with the community 🙂
My boyfriend and I had just spent the day with his daughter. While in the car, we noticed the sun beginning to set, to which my boyfriend exclaimed, "Wait!--I know the perfect spot to stop for the sunset!" Well, judging from the photo, he wasn't wrong, right!? 😂 It was so calming, the three of us standing by the shoreline as we watched the colors gradually unfold...
This one took place out west, while I was (unfortunately) stuck in an abusive relationship. I barely had time to plot my escape before winter had already brutally arrived 😩 As depressed as I was in this moment, I will say this: the cold of winter makes for some incredibly warm sunsets. These colours gave me the courage to try again; after all, did I really want to miss out on more beautiful sunsets like this?..
Yet another one, caught on a complete whim while driving 😅 My photographer trademark relies heavily on spontaneity, it seems! Not a bad thing at all, however. After all, life stops for no one; when it happens, you better catch it!
This one is quite possibly my favorite (that isn't orange!). I had just gotten out of my abusive relationship out west! 👌 I was back home, still getting to know my current boyfriend, the two of us high on shrooms 😅 I had come so close to losing my life, but then a swan (yes, that's a SWAN in the photo, not a seagull) approached me as if to say, "You made it." Needless to say, I was sobbing the entire time we watched this sunset.
