Erdödy castel,the oldest preserved cultural monument in Jastrebarsko. built by Matija Gereb between 1483. and 1489.
From the beginning of the 16th century until 1922. the castle was in the possession of the noble family Erdödy.
The castle was an important fortress at the time of Turkish conquest.
It was once used as a childrend's home and after that as a Local History Museum.
Today, it is in a very bad state and has been included on a list of rusty cultural goods of the Croatia.
