We're already in th last quarter of 2026 and honestly, this year has been somehow. And I don't even know the perfect word to describe 2026. It came with some beautiful moments, hopes and plans, but it also came with moments I wish I could erase from my memory.
One of the most notable things that happened this year was losing my parents-in-law. Lost father in-law first, while the plan for burial was going on, We lost my mom in-law. Ah Ah.. and honestly, I was just telling 2026 to finish quickly.
Losing people you have come to love is never easy. There is always that feeling of wishing you had more time, more conversations, more memories, and maybe just one more opportunity to say the things you didn't get to say.
Their absence has definitely been felt.
There are moments when I remember them and realize that life really doesn't give us a warning before things change. One moment, someone is here, and the next, you're left with memories.
It has reminded me to appreciate people while they are still around.
To make that phone call.
To check on someone.
To say "I love you."
To forgive.
To create memories.
Because tomorrow is never promised.
But despite everything that happened this year, I still thank God.
I have had reasons to cry, but I have also had reasons to smile. I have experienced loss, but I have also experienced love, growth, and moments that reminded me that life must continue.
As we approach the final days of 2026, what I am looking forward to most is peace.
More beautiful memories.
More reasons to smile.
More time with the people I love.
And, of course, better days ahead.
I don't know what 2027 has in store for me, but I am choosing to approach it with hope.
2026 wasn't perfect.
It wasn't easy.
But I am still here.
And for that alone, I am grateful. ❤️
We'll soon kiss 2026 goodbye. And I honestly hope that the remaining days be gentle with us.
Thanks for stopping by!
