Hi Liketu

Sometimes the simple, unplanned and calm weekends are my most cherished.

I had a 3-day weekend as it's Winter Midterm Bank Holiday in Gibraltar. Usually I would spend my time running around from plan to plan and completing chores.. This weekend was different (in a good way)

No Plans =

  • Spontaneous walks: Even after 4 years of living on the Gibraltar rock, I'm always finding new pathways and areas to discover. This time I found an outdoor escalator from mid-rock down to the main town.

  • Random encounters with friends: unplanned 'plans' with friends, featuring coffee and croissants.

  • Discovering new wine: Trying Mascato, a sweet white wine.

  • Visiting the library: The classic, 'Moby Dick' The interesting 'Is Butter A Carb' & The gripping 'Bad Blood'

  • Discovering Spice: Chicken Gyoza with red chilli ramen, this was delicious and borderline too spicy.

I think a weekend like this is good for the soul, and I recommend to some if life gets too chaotic.

Love.Lindsay x
