I will participate in the #monomad challenge with some shots of a North American endemic flower called Lasthenia. Here in Mexico it is also well known because you can see land flooded by these beautiful flowers.
These curious flowers are annual and here in Mexico they bloom in the month of November and can be found in almost any type of terrain, the extensions of land look very striking with their beautiful yellow color.
The flowers are yellow but this time I have edited them in black and white to participate in the challenge and this action seemed very successful since the details are more exposed with a monochrome edition.
I like their petals, they have a very striking finish because they have a small cut that makes them look very pretty, their small pistils are scarce and curious but their center is very well impregnated with pollen.
