I would like to contribute with these photos to #monomad challenge.
Recently, most of my photos have been taken on the mountains and in the countryside so for me, these photos are nice return to my days spent in Athens.
The first photo shows the Temple of Zeus situated in the city center of Athens. I always have special feelings when being at this place and the clouds are amplifying the atmosphere of the photo.
The second photo was taken when having frapp茅 on the terrace of one of the roof bars. It is showing Monastiraki, a vibrant quarter full of shops and markets.
And the third photo has been taken at my favourite place - Cape Sounion which is situated in the southern part of Attic peninsula. When visiting the Temple of Poseidon which is on the top of the hill, you will get a wonderful view of the sea surrounding this area from three sides. This place also boasts of the best sunsets.
