Looking for mint #1, a particular foil, or the last skin in a set? Splintertools now has more ways to narrow the search, see who holds what you’re looking for, and share the exact result.
The biggest addition is Mint Finder. Alongside it, the Skins tool has grown beyond comparing collections: you can explore how skins are available, inspect ownership history, and link someone directly to a design or an individual history event.
Here’s some options for how to use the two tools.
Start with a number
Open Mint Finder with mint #1:
https://splintertools.com/card-lookup?mode=mint&mint=1
That gives you a starting list across eligible cards and foils. You don’t have to choose a card first. If you collect a particular number across different cards, this is the useful part: start with the number, then decide which results interest you.
From there, narrow the list by set or foil. You can also search by card name. Set icons make the set filters easier to scan, and the foil menu uses labels alongside its abbreviations.
For example, Codex Sage has a verified Black Foil mint #1 result. Open the exact result: https://splintertools.com/card-lookup?mode=mint&card=832&foil=BF&mint=1
Step 1 — Open the Codex Sage result.
Step 2 — Select Black (BF).
Step 3 — Confirm the result shows Mint 1 · Black.
Step 4 — Select Load current owner only if you want ownership details.
The initial results and owner lookups are separate. You can browse the matches immediately, then fetch details for a few cards rather than waiting for every owner lookup to finish. Finding the right copy shouldn’t require opening fifty tabs and developing a filing system.
The results are a place to investigate ownership, finding how to reach that owner is it's own unique challenge sometimes.
Share the exact copy
Once you’ve narrowed a search, you can copy its link. Links can preserve the card, foil, and mint number, so someone else opens the same target instead of starting over.
That’s useful when asking a guildmate about a copy, comparing finds, or discussing a possible trade. A card name alone may leave several variants to sort through. A direct link gives the conversation a specific starting point.
Change the number to whatever you collect and use the same workflow.
Find the skin you’re missing
Open the Skins tool:
https://splintertools.com/skins
The four tabs cover different parts of the search:
Search is for finding designs and checking ownership.
Availability is for exploring where designs can be obtained.
Collection is for reviewing an account’s skins.
Compare & trade is for comparing collections.
If you’re working on a set, start in Search, enter your account, choose the collection you’re interested in, and select Missing. You can narrow further by rarity or foil instead of browsing every design.
The Copy search link action lets you keep or share that selection. Open a design and use Copy design link when you want to point someone at one specific skin.
For comparing with another collector, move to Compare & trade. That makes it easier to work out what each collection is missing before the conversation turns into a long exchange of screenshots.
Check how a skin is available
Availability brings the acquisition routes together so you can distinguish a reward or shop source from copies listed on the market.
Those answer different questions. “How many are for sale?” helps with finding a copy now. “How many remain in the reward pool?” helps with deciding whether to keep chasing the drop.
For example, the Spooky group has a Glint shop route and market listings. A market count tells you how many copies are listed; it does not tell you how much stock remains in the shop. Check the source and its last update when deciding what to pursue.
This is especially useful when several sets are competing for your attention. You can investigate the source first, then open the design you care about.
Look into a skin’s history
Open a design’s Ownership and history section to see the records behind it. Expand an account’s history to inspect recorded drops and movements, follow a receipt, or use Copy event link to share that particular event.
Cyberpunk Ember Roast Sow is one example with original acquisition records and checked holdings available to inspect. Instead of stopping at a holder’s name, you can open the recorded drop and follow its receipt.
Older history is still being filled in. Some records are grouped by account, so they won’t always give you a separate journey for each individual copy. The useful part is being able to inspect the available events directly.
Try it with something you actually collect
Start with your mint number: https://splintertools.com/card-lookup?mode=mint, or pick a set you’re working on in Skins: https://splintertools.com/skins.
I’d like feedback on the searches you actually do: which filters help, which details you still have to find elsewhere, and where the next click isn’t obvious. A specific card, skin, or search link gives me something concrete to work with.
