Hi guys Lorentm is back with another great art post, this time for the splinterlands art contest, as you know the style of drawing that I am developing is the simpsons, in fact I have already done several works with this theme, although without realizing I had not designed one of the main characters of the family, being Homer, so I focused on finding a card that would suit him, among my exhaustive search I found the Halfling Alchemist, despite not having great resemblance, I was struck by a point, the fact that it is a character who works with chemicals and I imagined him working in the nuclear plant where Homer develops, from that base idea I gave free rein to my imagination 馃槉.
To begin with I first designed Homer's body working with chemicals, as he would normally do in the nuclear plant, then from there, I started to modify his body, adding different elements of the Alchemist, such as his characteristic hair, eyebrows and other accessories that accompany the character. At the same time I developed a work environment inside the plant, with different warning signs to give the feeling of being in a dangerous place, plus the play of light emitted by the chemicals helps to strengthen this idea. For being the first Homer I've done, it turned out really well, I hope you liked it as much as I did 馃槉.
Hola chicos Lorentm esta de vuelta con otro grandioso post de arte, esta vez para el concurso de arte de splinterlands, como saben el estilo de dibujo que estoy desarrollando es el de los simpsons, de hecho ya llevo varios trabajos realizados con esta tem谩tica, aunque sin darme cuenta no hab铆a dise帽ado uno de los personajes principales de la familia, trat谩ndose de Homero, entonces me centr茅 en buscar una carta que se adaptar谩 a 茅l, entre mi exhaustiva b煤squeda me encontr茅 al Halfling Alchemist, a pesar de no tener gran parecido, me llamo la atenci贸n un punto, el hecho de que es un personaje que trabaja con elementos qu铆micos y me lo imagine trabajando en la planta nuclear donde se desarrolla Homero, a partir de esa idea base le di rienda suelta a mi imaginaci贸n 馃槉.
Para empezar primero dise帽e el cuerpo de Homero trabajando con productos qu铆micos, como normalmente lo har铆a en la planta nuclear, luego de all铆, empec茅 a modificar su cuerpo, agreg谩ndole diferentes elementos del Alchemist, como su cabello caracter铆stico, cejas y los otros accesorios que acompa帽an al personaje. A su vez desarrolle un ambiente de trabajo dentro de la planta, con distintas se帽ales de advertencias para dar la sensaci贸n de estar en un lugar peligroso, adem谩s del juego de luces que emiten los productos qu铆micos ayuda a fortalecer esta idea. Para ser el primer Homero que hago, quedo realmente bien, espero que a ustedes les haya gustado tanto como a mi 馃槉

No one knows for certain; the Halflings have been less than forthcoming when answering questions of their past. Instead, their focus is always on the future, a future that is ruled by halves.
驴De d贸nde vinieron los Halflings? 驴Vinieron navegando a trav茅s de los Exteriores, excavaron en la tierra o simplemente cayeron del cielo? Nadie lo sabe con certeza; los halflings no han respondido a las preguntas sobre su pasado. En su lugar, su atenci贸n se centra siempre en el futuro, un futuro que est谩 gobernado por las mitades.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:
- Android tablet.
- Capacitive pen (Stylus).
- Ibis Paint X program.
- Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Fuzzy, Marker.
