Hello dear reader,

Welcome to my blog, trust me, it’s good to have you here and i also want to wish you a very happy 2018. For today, I will be giving eight technology hack that we should all use in 2018.

A Letter to your Future self

I know some of us would really love to share some memories or something special with our future self, well its not time travel like some of us will think.

Futureme.org
lets you send letters to yourself in the future.

Using Google As A Timer

Google can be used for several things. You can use google as a timer by typing

set timer (x) minutes

into the search bar

Recovering A Closed Tab

If you accidentally close a tab,

ctrl+shift+t

reopens it.

Finding More Relevant Information For School Essays

Stop using Google.com to search information for school essays, use

scholar.google.com

You will find more relevant information right away!

Use Google Translate to visit blocked sites

Is a particular website blocked at your work or in school? Companies and universities can be very annoying by putting up these firewalls, but almost all of them will not block Google Translate. So go to Google Translate and visit your site through it. It will work just fine! Remember to use English-to-English as the translation settings. But there’s one caveat: this hack only works with HTTP sites, not HTTPS ones.

Stopping Ads While Playing Games

I know ads can be very annoying while playing games on mobile.
Simply putting your mobile on airplane mode will stop ads while playing games

Use Youtube With Ease

Now this that might entirely change how you use YouTube. Did you know that you can hit the number keys on your keyboard from 1 to 9 to skip from 10% to 90% of the video? What’s more, you can use the J and L keys to rewind and fast forward 10 seconds, and the K key to play/pause. No more fiddling around with that bar!

Avoiding Virus Disguised As PDF

If you download a "PDF" file and you see it ends in "exe" delete it. Its usually a virus
