In October 2020 Angie and I celebrated our first marriage anniversary with a roadtrip to Lapland, the Finnish region within the Polar Circle. We stayed in a hotel where the rooms are self-contained igloos with glass ceilings (Northern Lights Village Levi). Because of the pandemic, we had the hotel almost just for ourselves, and the food service ended up being a la carte instead of buffet, which was even better!
Unfortunately, the sky was too cloudy for us to see the Northern Lights, which did occur in our first night there. The experience was nevertheless unforgettable. And of course I clicked my favourite model!
