Most anti-gun people are always screaming that the 2nd Amendment is only applicable to "muskets" because they claim those were the only types of firearms at the time.
The fact is that there were many guns that were way more powerful than muskets and we had guns at the time capable of fully-autimatic fire. Furthermore the 2nd Amendment preserves the right to have equivalent arms to the standing armies. The 2nd Amendment is only good for muskets argument is dead.
