Bella Ratajowlski is a Life and Ulund bloodline archon. She belongs to the Conclave Arcana set that introduced bloodlines in game play. In today's post, we'll go over her lore, her stats and abilities as well as showcase a battle where she was used effectively.
Lore
Bella Ratajowlski is the daughter of Ulundin’s leader, but she earned her own rank through discipline, perseverance and tactical skills. When Palifala Weslinath unleashes powerful magic that reshapes and destroys the land, Bella focuses on protecting Ulundin rather than uncovering Praetoria’s secrets. Despite her experience and the bravery of her small group of warriors, they are hopelessly outmatched by the overwhelming forces threatening them. Bella can hold the defensive line for now, but without reinforcements arriving soon, Ulundin’s future may be lost.
Stats and Abilities
Bella grants the Deflect ability to all units and the Shield ability to all ulunds, making her a good defensive archon. She will shine in Briar Patch, Magic Reflect or Explosive Weaponry rulesets where her Deflect ability will be crucial. Against physical attacks, ulunds will get additional layer of defense owing to the shield ability she provides.
Ulund Units
Here are some ulund units that can be a great combo to Bella.
Ulundin Overseer
Ulundin Overseer is a regular tank in my team especially when paired with Shiraza. He has high defensive stats and the shield ability from Bella will add to his defense making him a more defensive tank.
Warwall Juggernaut
Warwall Juggernaut is a great second position card. He has impressive offensive and defensive stats making him an excellent tank in his own right. His abilities include Armored Strike, further utilizing his armor not just for defense but also for offense.
Bakko Vharos
A new card in the Voucher shop, Bakko Vharos is probably one of the best range units. He has a high damage, health and speed. His new ability, Focus, increases the range power of all allied units. He also has other support and debuff abilities that will greatly help the team in battle.
Featured Battle
The battle had Explosive Weaponry ruleset which was the best use of Bella's Deflect ability. My Bella is only at level two but it was enough to get the victory. My tank was just a low mana Skyspire Leopard but I had the Ulundin Overseer as my second tank. In third was Shiraza to grant +2 magic attack to none attack units. In fourth was Nimbledook Explorer to provide more armor to the team. Then the next cards were damage dealers.
The enemy had a higher level archon and impressive units especially his dual tank combo. However, his backline damage dealers were not that impressive and his lack of supporting units as well as his lack of strategy to counter the Blast damage were a disadvantage.
