Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
Brawl update: We dropped way below to rank six. We were consistent in rank three in prior weeks but this week's brawl was tough. Even my own performance was below expectations.
Guild Rank and Personal Performance
We dropped to sixth rank after staying in third for two weeks. It's a disappointing brawl so I hope we can improve next week.
My own performance was also not that good, I won five battles and lost three which was below my usual ratio. Every guild member who joined in and contributed earned 5.1k Merits and 45 SPS for their efforts.
Featured Battle
The ruleset included Lost Magic so I chose my tank who was a good damage dealer and defender against physical attacks, Commander Slade. He has a combination of high damage and defensive stats to match against any tanks in battle, even legendary ones. In addition, he has Enfeeble that decreases his target's melee attacks and Dodge that allows him to evade physical attacks. In second position I had a unit that slows down the enemy to further increase my tank's dodge chance. In third was my gladiator, Isgalt Vorst with a nice four melee attack and Opportunity ability. In fourth was legendary Kervik with four melee attack and Sneak ability. In fifth was Sergeant Grauzral who has the deadly combination of Blast and Opportunity abilities. Lastly, I had Syrenth with Taunt ability.
The enemy chose the Life archon with Ulund bloodline. It's a good strategy since the archon grants the Shield ability to Ulunds which he had in his team. Overall, the enemy team had good synergy of a beefy tank, support and healer cards. My team had the advantage in damage though and it was enough to win the battle.
