I started to have fun in Rijeka (the name is translated from Croatian as "river"), the administrative center of the Croatian Primorye. Italian-speaking population, Austro-Hungarian resort architecture, some antique ruins. City by the sea, but without a city beach. The shore is crossed by the Dead Canal and the Rechina River. Nice city, but the next ones were more interesting.
