I have mentioned before that Cape Town can have five or more changes in the weather just in one day.
Just when I thought we were now into the beginnings of some lovely warm weather, mother nature has just turned things backwards again and so I woke up to some rain and thunder this morning - so different from yesterday and the days before when it felt like summer.
Yesterday was a mild balmy day and perfect weather for the family braai and it is hard to believe that today is like being back into winter.
I had planned to go out today and take some nice photos at Kirstenbosch our beautiful botanical garden, but the rain has put a stop to that - and even if the rain stops, it is overcast which means the lovely indigenous flowers will not open.
So, the only photo that I am sharing today is of my corriander which is at the end of its season and I am letting it go to seed - the flowers although small are so delicate and beautiful so they are a present from me to the bees who just love them.
