After a really warm weekend, today is a bit cooler with mists rolling in from the ocean.
I wish that I had as much energy as a bee has - I watch them arrive early every day and get busy with their pollen harvesting.
This goes on the entire day.
I have the perennial basil planted in a container by my front door and I have to admit this has to be a favourite flower for the bees - and the rosemary too.
When one thinks of how important bees are to the world, by having plants that attracts them is very rewarding.
I also have a shallow water dish for them too.
Sometimes a bee will come inside and get trapped by the windows and then I have to rescue the bee and set it free otherwise it will die.
Some people say that if a bee comes to you, it means that there is money coming your way! - I shall keep my fingers crossed.
