Greetings to all who always have their doors 馃毆opened in this entering that gives us #ecncy to share dreams, desires and experiences.
When someone talks about autism, no one imagines that he is talking about a person, one who also has dreams, who lives with his joys and sorrows.
This is a person who sometimes confuses words to say what he feels, or that simply lets you guess in his gaze or with an unexpected gesture that fails to get out of his lips.
They tell you autism, they write it, they assign you consultations, analysis, studies and throw you in a vacuum by the hand of autism, from that hand that will never separate from you, because you will turn it into a new umbilical cord.
Maybe you never look at the way, because every day becomes new and immense and there is almost never time to look back.
Every day is a challenge, a race and sometimes we don't even know where we want to get there or why we run.
The current of the river to whose waters have thrown you without warning is strong, full of small stones, it is difficult to get out of it without wounds.
It is true, the word autism, it hurts, burns, but in its roughness there is its charm, its fragility, if you stop clinging to the hand and looked up, you may be surprised because the eyes that look at you are not the eyes of autism, those that are in front of you, are asking you to hide it.
Do it now, stop the waters, look and sip. There is your son, your brother, the friend, there, hoping that you stop squeezing his hand, that you soften the gesture to simply walk with you, next to you, to trust him as he has trusted you.
It is true that they need help, much, but who has not needed help, sometimes we confuse us thinking that they are people to be fixed and not people to whom we must understand, support, encourage.
Next to him we must rather try to be less hard to walk and integrate into a society that includes them little, a society that goes so in a hurry that confuses them and even worse: evades them.
Now, stop, think what is autism? A word, a diagnosis? Another label?
After that label, that diagnosis is that unique and surprising being waiting for you to tell him his name and that you teach him to cross the currents no matter how strong the waters flow.
Mine is called Dylan, he has eyes like stars, always throbbing and eager to share his brightness; When he smiles, it seems that an rainbow was opened in his chest.
We have crossed so much storm, misunderstanding, fears, we have fallen to an adverse situation, but we always try again, because autism is not its name, it is simply the path we must travel through.
Thank you.
Hazlo ahora, det茅n las aguas, mira y sorpr茅ndete.
驴Una palabra, un diagn贸stico? 驴Otra etiqueta?
Gracias.
