Sometimes loving oneself and being kind does not go well together. Recognizing that someone is treating you wrong is different from your reaction towards them when you are a kind person. How can you call them out as mean or ingrates when you see the good in them despite them showing you otherwise? Worse is that..you genuinely treat them as your friends..
