When it comes to relationships, I think one of the other things to accept in a relationship is that someone can make a decision that is right for them and see what should be bad.

You can love someone, have good intentions with them and genuinely want things to work and they can still decide that they want a different life and your first reaction would probably be to take it personally, to start thinking after everything I did for this person, how could they choose this?

But people are allowed to make choices based on what they believe is best for their own life. That doesn't mean that you have to agree with the decision.

It doesn't mean that it won't work and it doesn't mean you have to pretend you are okay about this but being hurt by someone's decision doesn't automatically mean they wronged you.

There are times when nobody is the villain, two people can care about each other, both be genuine and still realise that they can't continue on the same path.

I think there is a certain kind of peace that comes from understanding that you can be disappointed that someone didn't choose you without hitting them for choosing themselves first.
