I signed up to Splinterland same time last year and I never gave it the time of light till now. And now I am actually have so so much fun, still learning.
I don't know much about the game as there is heaps of moving parts. I haven't played any card games before but I use to play World of Warcraft. So I understand you need a tank (to take the damage), ranged and magic card and I am still trying to find my deck.
At the moment I understand you need a summon card to begin, then a tank, and you can choose a melee card and you can fill the rest slots with range or magic cards till your mana fills up, Is this correct?

Luminous Eagle save my behind, with its flying ability - I dodged a few attacks.
Did I arrange my cards properly?
I am asking the community to guide me to get up to speed, any pointers or YouTube channels that guide me how to start this game properly, as I want to get good at this game?
