Hi All,

Firstly I would like to thank all that participated in the #EPL-ScoreChallenge AND #HIVE-FPL.

VAR is still and will be the center of attention for this season and seasons to come if the issues haven't been fixed; gameweek 10 hasn't been any different without horrible VAR decisions. In other news, Leicester City were defeated by Fulham at home was the shocking result of the week. The Foxes had a chance to join Spurs and Liverpool on top of the table on equal points but settled on 4th position.

Weekly Update - #EPL-ScoreChallenge

This week we had 11 HIVErs participating in this weeks #EPL-ScoreChallenge - that's the most number of entries to date in one game week - let's keep this going.

Congratulations to all 3 winners of last weeks #EPL-ScoreChallenge - @mercurial9, @rmsadkri and @dexpartacus. They all selected 2) Chelsea to draw with Spurs.

Weekly Update - #HIVE-FPL

@carita-feliz (Smiley Fries) scored the most points (62) in gameweek 10 - This game week has been the worst amount of points accumulated in FPL this season so far.

Leader board: @chekohler (Boom XhakaLacaSaka) leading the #HIVE-FPL competition on 584 points, closely followed by @teofilex11 (Tezos FC) on 2nd place and in 3rd place OmstavanGGMU

Striker

Cavani scoring 15 points</figcaption

Finally Edinson Cavani delivered for Manchester United, in a highly entertaining game at St Mary's. Cavani was involved in all 3 goals; assisted and scoring 2 goal himself. Cavani scored a total of 15 points for FPL managers.

No one in our mini league had Edinson Cavani in their team. He is owned by ONLY 1.9% FPL managers. At £8.0 could he be a future option in the striking position or was that game-week a one off, we will wait and see.

There were a few more striker that scored decent amount of points in this gameweek; Willson (Newcastle) and Joelinton (Newcastle)

Midfield

Mahrez scoring 21 points</figcaption

Mahrez played exceptionally well as Manchester City cruised to victory, putting 5 passed Burnly . Mahrez scored 3 goals and helped link up the play for the other 2 goals. He received an extra 3 bonus points and 1 clean-sheet point. Surprise surprise no one in our mini league had him too

There were a few more midfielders that scored decent amount of points in this gameweek; Bowen (West Ham), Neto (Wolves)

Defender

Mendy scoring 14 points</figcaption

Mendy's goal and clean sheet helped Manchester City team to 3 valuable points to as City are struggling to kick off their Premier League campaign. Can this be the Mendy of old, that bombs down the flanks with his assist and the odd goals?

Mendy is not owned by any FPL managers in our mini League, no wonder the points tally this week is so so low.

There were a few more defenders that scored decent amount of points in this gameweek; Walker (Manchester City) and Ogbonna (West Ham)

Goalkeeper

Johnstone scoring 11 points</figcaption

Johnstone and Meslier scored the most FPL points for a goalkeeper - 11 points. Both keepers had a blinder and kept a clean sheet (4 points) + 2 point for the amount of saves (6) and 3 bonus points.

This has to be the worst game-week for managers in our mini league, the players that we normally rely on for points failed to deliver.

Keep in mind you ONLY get one free transfer and transfers after that will cost you 4 points.

The season is still young and a few changes to your FPL team can make a real difference.
