Hi Guys,
The bellow photos were taken in the Coptic Cairo, Egypt which is a part of Old Cairo. It is also known as the 7 churches.
The Coptic Cairo complex has several ancient buildings; the Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St. George and several other Coptic churches and historical sites.
The below 2 photos were taken at a souvenir shop near the entrance of the Coptic Cairo entrance;
The below photos were were taken from a church that was built on the sacred site that was believed the holy family stayed in Egypt at the time of king Herod, Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church (Abu Serga).
The photos bellow were taking at The Hanging Church, which is one of the oldest churches in Egypt, it dates back to the third century.
It is called the Hanging Church because it was built on the southern gate of the Roman Fortress. "Logs of palm trees and layers of stones were constructed above the ruins of the Roman fortress to be used as a foundation. The Hanging Church is a unique church and has a wooden roof in the shape of Noah’s ark." http://www.coptic-cairo.com/oldcairo/church/mollaqa/mollaqa.html
