Being a coward and always finding excuses to not start a problem. Many people grow up in a place of scarcity, only knowing zero-sum games, and have consequently nurtured the habit of hoping for other people to fail.
But every successful person knows that they started to get luckier once they generally started to wish the best for others and they served.
