Hi all 👋🏻
Join me today as we walk around our garden to discover some of the visitors that visited us over the last 2 weeks. As you all know we got the first snow on 1 November already… it had defrosted a little bit, but this week we get about 1/2 meter more snow again. ☃️😁 Yesterday and today it is snowing a lot 🌨️🌨️🌨️ I love it!

We will walk along the back of our cabin towards the veggie garden…
We see a #track 🐾🐾🐾 #paw #prints in the #snow. Here the snow was about 8 cm deep.
We look at the strawberry path 🍓🍓🍓 some plants are peeking 🫣 through the snow ❄️
As we follow the #tracks 🐾🐾🐾🐾 we see it is larger than a cat 🐈, I would say a medium large feline. Maybe the lynx again? I had not seen any evidence of it visiting our garden. Although I did discover last winter its tracks up the mountain behind our cabin in the forest. Maybe you remember that post 😊

Looking over the strawberry patch again. Can’t wait till spring as I have rejuvenated the 3 rows, so I hope to get lots of strawberries 🍓 next season.
Walking through the garden on 12 November… yes… we can jump between days in this walk 😉
We see a large bird visited our garden.
The feline tracks from a few days ago are also still visible… the snow slowly defrosts. We have temperatures from around 8 degrees but the ground is still frosty and very cold 🥶
I like these foot prints… they are cool 😎 🦅🐦⬛🦅🐦⬛
In the evening we see sparkles ✨ everywhere along the icy drive way…. The #ice 🧊 and snow is glistering… it was hard to capture but I managed 😊
On 16 November we had some new visitors. A eurasian jay found our bird feeders… he is sitting on the ground to search for all the fallen nuts and sunflower seeds. 😊
His foot prints are not big enough for the ones I saw on the other side of the garden…
The bull finches are always here. Summer or winter. I counted about 6 couples in the last weeks. So there are coming more and more 🥰
This cutie is also joining his friends 😊 last Monday
I have been busy on 18 November… I have put up some lights and these twinkle lights ✨✨✨ are on the entrance side to dress up for the season. It also gives us a bit more light as it is already dark at 14:30h now.
We wander further and look at our tree with the bird feeders in it… this was yesterday morning. Loads of little visitors 🐦⬛🐤🪶 enjoying their meal. I love watching them 😊
So cute 😊 they are hungry with the cold and snowy days.
Some sparrows (4) joining the bullfinches. We see 3 males and one female bullfinch.
2 other visitors….
At 1400h today it still is snowing 🌨️ the trees behind the cabin in our forest are getting a thick layer of snow on the branches 🌲🌲🌲☃️☃️☃️
It is such a beautiful sight 😊 it feels like Christmas 🎄
As you can see the snow is covering more and more… building up a good layer again. Luckily our visitors keep coming.
Love it when I can capture them in motion 🐦⬛ oh I so wish I could invest in a bigger lens for my camera to capture them close up… but hey… life and such gets in the way currently and for a while I guess. 🫣
We walk further to the front and see how the colours change at 14:30h today… soon it will be dark.
I just measured how much snow we have today and it is about 10 cm of snow at 15:18h on 20 November… wooohhoooo ☃️
Looking forward to more 🌨️🌨️🌨️ as I want to built some snowman ⛄️ and snowanimals…
