I apologize if you find me overwhelming
I admire your zest for interaction and spirited zeal to get to the bottom of an issue as a way to find resolution. I wish I was more forthcoming about these issues using personal perspectives and stories, but as you can see from my comment history, I'm a man of few words.
Is it yours?
No, narrative studies is not my area of expertise, but I'm familiar enough with it from my past studies.
Can I defend myself here, for you brought the topic into our conversation?
I see where the confusion lies. I brought it up merely as an example that story telling is more than just "entertainment", as you initially suggested. I was merely pointing out that story telling and narrative have a much wider purpose and implications than just entertainment. I certainly didn't mean to parse the details of the field and resolve its limitations.
Thank you for your engagement.
