One of the coolest places in the city is the Harbour Centre lookout, a prominent tower that spikes the cityscape. Its history goes back to 1928, when the first structures went up. Then in 1977, Neil Armstrong himself christened the revolving tower, which at the time was the tallest in the city.

I was netrunning downtown looking for visual input and psychochemical stimulation- a fancy way of saying I was looking for a place to watch the soccer match and drink beer, but the former sounds more poetic- when I looked up and saw the tower peeking down from above like a Brutalist sentinel.
