We live immersed in the events of our daily lives, life passes us by in the blink of an eye, we spend our lives in an eternal complaint and lamenting for the things we have not been able to do

We spend our lives in just working, full of tiredness, a body that takes its toll on us for the abuse we have done to it by exceeding the hours we should dedicate to work

When someone asks us: What are you doing this weekend? We jump immediately to answer the typical phrase of always: I have to work. And if you are one of these people but you work from Monday to Friday, for sure you will answer: I have to wash, iron, clean, cook, etc. But the least we will answer is: I am going to rest or take a walk

Many people deprive themselves of doing different things on weekends because they think they need money for that, and as we are always short of money, which is just enough for food, then, going for a walk is almost never in our plans

We cannot allow our happiness to depend on money, if there is money we are happy, if there is no money, we are not happy, it cannot be like that

Life has shown me that there are many reasons to be happy, especially the gift of life, having our children, seeing our grandchildren grow, having people who love us, being able to eat at least 3 meals a day and so many other things

Through time I have learned to be aware of the small details, to let myself be surprised, to let my inner child flow every day

As I said before, we can do things that we may not need money to distract us or to be able to share with someone we love

How beautiful it is to see the sunset with someone, to sit with the children and enjoy the sea, or at night to see the moon and the stars, to play a poker game with family or friends, to play soccer, to see the sunset, in short, so many things

My family and I have a friend, he sent us some pictures flying parrot and that is what inspired me to write this publication, when I saw those pictures, many emotions came up in me, so many memories with my dad when he taught me to fly parrot, I stopped doing it and I don't even remember how to build one or how to fly, we think they are children's things and we let our innocence erased by circumstances, the world or society

I see him in that photo, flying the parrot with so much joy, and I think about what many people say, that we all have 5 minutes of child in the day but I have always asked myself: Why only 5 minutes? That child should always emerge in us, but not the bad things of a child as a tantrum or spoiled child, but the purity and those good feelings like: joy, that many times with the vicissitudes of life we let it take away, love, forgiveness because children are the only ones able to get upset with their friends and after 5 minutes ask for forgiveness or simply forget what happened and continue playing, there are so many reasons why we should let the child emerge in us

When we are small we want to be big, we want to grow up fast, but when we are adults, we want to be children, we want to jump stages, we want everything to pass quickly and we do not realize that we stop living because we are waiting for time to fly by like that parrot

Let's think about what that parrot could mean in our life, maybe joy, love, fun, tenderness, peace, tranquility, life itself, family, friends, work, everyone will give a different name to that parrot, then why while we fly that parrot "peace of mind", we do not take advantage of enjoying that moment, enjoying life while we fly it, taking advantage of every minute that we have that parrot in our lives, but without losing sight of it, lest when we least think the parrot breaks, gets tangled or gets out of our hands

So always remember: Take advantage of every moment of your life and always have that child inside you, take time for you and for your loved ones, lest the parrot leaves us for being immersed in so much work and worries

Let's never stop dreaming and enjoying like children, no matter how old we are to fly a parrot. Which parrot do you want to fly?
