Destejiendo la nostalgia,

he sentido nuevamente esa melancolía

que cuenta, sin prisas, los meses

de tu ausencia; aquella que desvanece

cada recuerdo grato, cada ambigüedad

de los desafíos, mientras el reloj

de pared marca los segundos

de esta vida hecha de pesares

y de necesidad de sentirte.

Eres como aquel extraño que sueña

con la caricia que ha olvidado,

aunque la siente presente en su cuerpo.

Unraveling nostalgia,

I've felt again that melancholy

which slowly counts the months

of your absence; the one that fades

every sweet memory, every ambiguity

of challenges, while the wall clock

marks the seconds

of this life woven with sorrows

and the need to feel you.

You're like that stranger who dreams

of the forgotten caress,

yet feels it lingering on their skin.
