Yesterday I went for a walk, I had been at home for many days and my body was already asking for some distraction so I took my Nikon D 7500 camera and two lenses one 50 mm and a 70-300 mm lens and went out to walk the streets of my city Ciego de Ávila in the center of the island of Cuba.
When I opened the door of my house, the neighbor's cat said good morning to me, something strange happened and it was that he stayed quiet for a minute and this allowed me to take the photo that I show you below.
It really seems that he doesn't like me very much since we've been seeing each other for years and every time we cross glances he runs away, that's why I infer that I'm not of his devotion.
A few minutes after I started walking, I took my camera out of the bag where I usually keep it, I was observing that there were good scenes that I wasn't capturing because I was carrying it stored.
This place is known as Servi Este and it is a place where the.people come to eat and enjoy a drink.
These stairs belong to the zoo, they communicate an area where the animals are with the recreational area that is located on the other side of the road.
After half an hour of walking, already in the center of the city I noticed a big movement of people, as I got closer I could see that there was a cultural activity, several living sculptures showed cute and colorful costumes, all the people were taking pictures next to them, celebrating some religious date, but really don't ask.
I stayed here for only a few minutes, where with a little difficulty due to the number of people I was able to approach the sculptures and take some photos.
I really liked this blue one because of her outfit and the girl's eyes, which I tried to capture with my 50 mm lens.
I know that each of these living statues has its meaning and its history in the religious field, but I don't know.
They all had very nice colors, however, the one I liked the most was the yellow one, she was the main character, all the people came up to her to take a picture with her.
After a while in the city center I decided to continue my way, it was not my goal to stay long in that place, I had the idea of going to the city park a place I visit often to look for images for #hive, because in that place you can find everything.
This is a floating restaurant that is in the middle of a natural lagoon, it was very visited by the population for its tasty seafood dishes, currently I don't know if it is working.
If something I like about this place is to photograph its landscapes, there are nature areas with trees on which the sun's rays affect and give good images, I had several to show, however I could only upload the image I show below, the others were very large and I could not upload them to ecency, it must be because of the scarce connection that there is in my country.
I sat for a while in a remote place and with my 70-300 mm lens I was able to take some pictures of the passersby of the place.
The park is full of statues or iron figures, this is a lion designed with remains of this type of material.
And this is the picture of a camel.
I found this beautiful flower back home already at the exits of the park, its colors and natural contrasts stole all my attention.
Already back home I made some captures of some means of transport that circulated near my walk.
And when one of the neighborhood children came home and saw me with the camera in hand, he wanted me to take a picture of him, which I also show below.
