I suppose that we all feel that today... the thought of all the cryptocurrencies being just scams.
Maybe the era is going to its end and after the rise we experienced in November-December, the end has come.
In fact today in the morning I felt a very huge desire to take away all the crypto at exchange and move them to bank account, since it's always possible that it's the last chance to have a more or less good amount to transfer.
The only thought that stopped me was that I didn't invest anything so all this air came from air to me, with just activities I participated in during the last year. So there's nothing to regret except for time, but mostly I did only what was really interesting to me.
But I do understand people who invested money and bought bitcoin for 20 000 USD, they surely want to have at least something back, and with the panic those weak hands can loose the money. And I do understand those people who was lucky enough to get a good reward from Steemit for a long time and got used to a certain amount of dollars coming to them every week or month, and they want to have it still. And I do understand those who earned on Steemit much more than they are able to get in real life.
And that's how banks are usually collapsing even if the economy will get out of the crisis - lots of people just want to have their money at home and after the bank will survive they will return them again to bank. But the system doesn't work like that, since banks are not able to get loans return as quickly as people can get their deposits back.
I hope that Steemit will survive. Even if not as a place to earn money, still as a place to express ourselves. And then we'll create new ideas about developing local economy here :)
