The world of finance can be really tough to get into. It feels like a club that you need to be invited to. The banks and other big institutions make it hard for regular people to get started. They have a lot of rules and fees that make it difficult to save money. I have been watching this from the outside for a time. I saw how the old ways of building wealth were not working anymore. Inflation and big institutions were making it hard for people to get ahead.
Then I found out about Web3. I learned about the Hive blockchain and the community on LeoFinance. This was a game changer for me. As a person in this space I feel really excited to be a part of it. I am starting this blog using the Ecency frontend. I want to share my thoughts and ideas with the community. I want to learn from them and grow together.

To understand why LeoFinance is so important we need to look at the problems with the system. For a time people thought that working a regular job and saving money in a bank was the way to go.. Things have changed. The economy is different now. Inflation and market changes have made it hard to save money.
Traditional banking is not working for people. The fees are high. The interest is low. We have no say in how our money's used.
On the hand DeFi is different. The fees are low. The interest can be high. We have a say in how our money's used.
When we keep our money in a bank we are basically lending it to them. They use our money to make money but they only give us a little bit of interest. Web3 and DeFi change this. They take out the middleman. Give us more control over our money.
