Nepal and Kathmandu is still treating me very well, I really get a lot of valuable input from several people!
Most of us at the coffee shop are travelers or emigrees, but the globus belonged to a local girl, which led to interesting conversation & photography for me.
I followed this family for a few hundred meters, working to pick the right moment, this one worked well I think.
Swastikas are of course to be found all over the place, its part of the culture(s)

This must be Ganesh, from Budhanilkhanta temple
Budhanilkhanta is an interesting Hindu temple for me, it feels very peaceful in a different way than what I am used to from Buddhist settings & locations. Maybe it is a more female energy?
I am no expert on Hindu traditions, but this should be Vishnu resting in the water. Hopefully I will get the time to get deeper into these things, they feel natural to me somehow, although different from Buddhism...

This is quite something to experience! Of course it is very colourful, so most of what I have from these events might not fit in with #monomad. These two do, I think, it shows a bit of that dynamic, really wild energy that is both shown & tamed at the same time!
