I played a practice round of disc golf out at the local eighteen-hole course. I had a +4 score. This was about average for me on the course. It was just a bit windy, plus my furry friend was along.
Doggie gets a little extra nervous on this course. There is some construction, traffic and train noise. Lots of people like to walk here, and there are other dogs.
I tried out my new Discraft Thrasher disc that I got in the recent tournament again. The plastic is starting to feel a bit better in the grip. It seemed to fly pretty well in the wind for an understable disc. I'm still not sure if I will bag it or not. I have a couple of discs that I like for that understable slot - the Mamba and the Mantra. The thing that I do like about the Trasher is that it is a near max weight disc and just stable enough for me to throw forehand.
