Day one of the tournament went fairly okay. I had only one embarisingly bad miss on a short putt. It is what it is.
For the red/green course, I did reasonably well, considering that I don't usually play the course as well as I should for my rating. I'm not sure why I have trouble with it since it is supposed to be easier than the red course. Tomorrow and the next day we will be playing the red course so I should do better with any luck. There are some longer distance par four holes, and that makes it easier for me. Although my short distance putting game is lacking, I make up for it with a good distance backhand and approach game.
Hopefully, my short distance putts and forehand game will improve as my shoulder heals more.
I got some nice stuff in the players' pack in the tournament. It is a lot of fun to play in the tournament, but it is very challenging. With each tournament, my mental game improves a bit.
