Camping part two. The smartphone is down to 36% power and coverage is a bit sketchy but with any luck I can post these pictures.
Most of my steps today were walking around and taking pictures. I found an access road by the power lines to explore. The trees and overgrowth was cleared out so the view of the mountains was nice.
It is pretty noisy in the campground tonight. Many people are playing with their kids. Cars are traveling fast on the nearby road and lots of music is being played. I don't mind it.
I do like really quiet campgrounds too though. There is something wonderful about hearing all the natural sounds in the woods.
A few more days and my son will be back in school for his last year of high school. It is crazy how fast kids grow up. I could be looking for someone else to play disc golf with soon.
Soaking my feet in the stream today was fun. The rocks are very slippery with a lot of growth on them so I had to take it very slow to get in the water.
I saw a couple of small snakes and a really large bird today. It looked like an eagle but it was hard to tell.
Here's a few of the photos I took today.
